Your hosts provide you with a quiet, peaceful, comfortable escape where you can relax, unwind and rejuvenate while enjoying the seclusion of the forest and the panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains.
After driving up a paved road through a beautifully forested mountain, you will arrive at this 10 acre forested setting where you will stay in a luxurious log home. Through your bedroom¹s expansive bay windows you will overlook the forested mountains of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With its covered decks and screened in porch, Chilhowee Mountain Retreat is perfect for a quiet, restful, romantic getaway. It is a place where you can find that peaceful escape -- that perfect, undisturbed, reclusive, nook to read or contemplate while taking in the splendor of the mountain views. Chilhowee Mountain Retreat is perfect for that special occasion, the hiker seeking rest, the mountain-biker after a day of peddling, celebrating an anniversary, the honeymooners, the Tail of the Dragon enthusiast, the college or university visitor, or the business traveler requiring uninterrupted time, or the couple just desiring to pamper themselves and slip away and briefly escape from their busy world.
You will enjoy pampering yourself with luxurious amenities to rejuvenate your body and spirit. Your comfortable room includes a king size bed with plush, inviting sheets, a two-person, air-jet tub, perfect for that relaxing bubble or oil bath, and a steam shower to relax and cleanse your body. For your entertainment each room has a large screen HD-TV and a CD player. For those wishing to stay connected the inn is equipped with free WiFi for guest use.
Each morning you will awaken to the smell of a fresh, homemade breakfast to fortify you for a day of enjoying the splendor of the Smoky Mountains and all east Tennessee has to offer. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, in the screened porch, or on the open deck, as you choose.
You will enjoy the sun rising over the mountains and painting the valleys below. Robes and slippers are welcome at the table where you can be yourself -- your comfort and relaxation is most important.
Within a short, beautiful drive you will find over 900 miles of trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Tail of the Dragon, Maryville College, the University of Tennessee, the Cherohala Skyway, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
